iPhone 4 CDMA. Arriving on Verizon, 02/10/11.
Yesterday on the 11th of January 2011 , the iPhone changed the way we live, yet again. Verizon announced that it would be offering the iPhone 4 on its network.
So what? Well, first of all nobody has to deal with crappy network anymore thanks to Verizon’s excellent service. There are people who didn’t buy the iPhone because of AT&T.
What does the iPhone 4 CDMA offer? Nothing much actually, when compared with AT&T’s iPhone except that it was tweaked to work with Verizon’s CDMA networks. Also, Verizon’s iPhone offers a 3G mobile hotspot. Hopefully, this is just a software update and will be available on the older iPhones too. Unfortunately, Verizon’s iPhone 4 doesn’t support their LTE networks. Death Grip? Verizon says they tested the iPhone 4 for over a year now on their networks. So, hopefully the death grip shouldn’t plague us anymore. To read more about that Click Here.
How much does it cost? Verizon is offering the 16GB iPhone for 200 dollars with a 2 year contract. Thats the same price AT&T is offering it for.
